Speaking guidance

Make the next reply easier to produce

German travel announcements carry several details at once. Listen first for the platform number, time, destination, and change word.
Repeat a critical detail back with rising intonation: Gleis sieben, richtig? This turns partial understanding into confirmation.
Long compounds become easier when you notice their parts. Verspätung is one word, but you only need to recognise it as the signal for a delay.
